Crafted with heart, made for life
Welcome to Cringoed Sawdust Makers, where traditional craftsmanship meets timeless beauty. As a husband and wife team from Eryri, North Wales, we pour our passion into creating unique, handmade wooden items using local and recycled wood. Discover our story, our dedication to traditional techniques, and the joy we aim to bring into your home with every treasured piece.

Our approach to woodcraft
At Cringoed Sawdust Makers, we honour the age-old traditions of woodworking. Every item is lovingly crafted by hand using time-honoured techniques such as wood turning, scroll sawing, pyrography, and stick making. We meticulously select local or recycled wood, ensuring each piece not only tells a story of its origin but also embodies sustainable practices and unparalleled quality. We believe this traditional approach, free from CNC or laser engravers, truly sets our creations apart.

From a garden shed to our Parc Glynllifon workshops
Our journey began in 2021, in a humble garden shed in Gellilydan, Eryri. As our skills flourished and our passion deepened, Cringoed Sawdust Makers grew from a hobby into a dedicated craft. We’re now proud to call the vibrant courtyard workshops at Parc Glynllifon near Caernarfon, North Wales, our home. This evolution reflects our commitment to continuous growth and our unwavering dedication to creating beautiful, handcrafted items.

Crafted with care, made to treasure
When you choose a Cringoed Sawdust product, you’re not just buying an item; you’re bringing home a piece of art made with heart. We strive to create beautiful, affordable items designed to be treasured for years to come and, most importantly, to bring a smile to your face. Each piece is crafted in a truly traditional way, and because we use local wood, it often carries a unique story waiting to become a part of your home.
"Our main aim is to make affordable items that anyone can enjoy. We are still learning our crafts and some of our items have more of a rustic than polished feel, but we like to think that they all make people smile."
